Why mobile massage?
Mobile massage is a great option for those who have kids or dependents, people living with disabilities or health restrictions, or anyone who simply doesn't feel like leaving the house. I bring my massage table to you and you enjoy some much needed TLC in the comfort of your own home!
How much space do you need? Do I need to supply anything?
I would say roughly 10x6 feet at least. The massage table is approximately 7 feet long and 3 feet wide, and additional room is needed for me to work around the table. I will need access to a clean sink to wash my hands before and after the appointment. Aside from that I will supply everything needed.
Do you need additional time to set up? Is this part of the time that I book?
I will need about 15 minutes to set up the massage area and another 15 to break it down after the appointment. The length of your service will not be effected by this. For example, if you book a 3pm 60 minute appointment, I will arrive at 3 and depart by 430.
Is it okay to have
other people and
pets home during
the appointment?
Yes! It is perfectly fine if you have dependents or family members at home during your appointment. Pets are great too, I just ask that if they are uncomfortable with new people in their space that you ensure they are situated prior to my arrival.
What is the best
method of payment?
While cash is my preferred method of payment, I also accept PayPal, Venmo and checks. Cards will be accepted after 3/18.
Should I tip?
To simplify the process for both client and massage therapist, a 20% gratuity has been factored into the price of all services.
Do I have to completely undress?
No! I'm happy to work with you at your level of comfortability. Some people choose to fully disrobe while others leave just their underwear on. Others choose to remain fully clothed and I'm glad to work with this too.
How often should I
get massages?
To experience the lasting relief of massage, I recommend biweekly or monthly appointments. It typically takes about 3 regularly scheduled massages before a significant impact is made, particularly if you've never had a massage or have gone an extended period without receiving one. One session will provide relief, but regular massages can improve the quality of living.
What's your cancellation policy?
Please submit any cancellations or requests to reschedule at least 24 hours in advance. This helps me accommodate other clients and maintain consistency with my schedule. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows will incur a fee of 50% of the scheduled service. I understand that emergencies and illnesses happen, and those situations will always be taken into account.
